About

battery opera performing arts society is a Vancouver-based arts organization that supports the work and projects of co-founders Lee Su-Feh and David McIntosh.

Incorporated as a non-profit arts organization in 1995, battery opera produces and initiates original performance works, multi-disciplinary actions and practice, dialogue and inquiry. These projects take place in the theatre, on the streets, in hotel rooms, in private homes, public parks, and in print; across Canada and internationally.

battery opera also provides mentorship, dramaturgy, and residency opportunities to artists, and facilitates workshops, classes and conversations for the general public.
